On behalf of everyone at Zion, thank you for visiting our website.  For 140 years, the people of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church have been serving Summit and surrounding communities in the name of Jesus Christ.  Zion is a Christ-centered church.  We joyfully confess Jesus Christ as Lord--who died for the sins of the whole world, rose from the grave, ascended into heaven and is coming again in glory.  We are a people of hope because of what Christ has done for us.  We count it our privilege to greet you in the name of Christ today, and invite you to learn more about Zion.  We hope you enjoy our website.  If there is any way I can serve you, please contact me at pastor@zionlutheransummit.org

Driving Directions to our Church:

From Interstate 55:
Exit IL 171 South (First Ave.) Exit # 282
Proceed to the stoplight at Archer Rd./Bragassi Dr.
Turn right at the stoplight and proceed to the 2nd stoplight (59th St.).
Turn left at the stoplight, the church is on the Northeast corner.

From the North/Chicago:
Take any North/South artery until it intersects with Archer Ave.
Proceed West on Archer Ave. and continue to the 2nd stoplight West of Harlem Ave.
It is at this point that Archer turns left and becomes Archer Road.  Turn left at the stoplight and proceed South on Archer Rd. to the 2nd stoplight. Turn left at the stoplight, the church is on the Northeast corner.

From the South, Roberts Rd, Rt. 45, 104th Ave, etc.:
Turn Northeastbound on Archer Road. Continue to the 1st stoplight (59th St.) past 63rd St.
Turn right at the stoplight, the church is on the Northeast corner.  

Parking:
Our Lord has blessed us with plenty of parking space.  There is a parking lot immediately to your right as you turn onto 59th St. or you may proceed and make a left and enter the parking lot to the rear of the church building.
